My Thoughts On Sandy Hook

I know that I’ve been silent about the school shooting at Sandy Hook, but I needed a little time to really figure out just what I wanted to say. First, I want to mention the media. They couldn’t even get the facts straight! First there were two shooters, now there was one. Was the rifle in the car or on him? Then, all of the sudden, his mother was a prepper (oh, scary!). The next day, she’s a survivalist (oh, scarier!). Poor woman’s dead, too, and can’t even defend herself. Since, the media can’t figure out what really happened, they’ll just play on our emotions and urge us to allow guns to be banned. Ban all guns because one guy committed a crime.

The next thing I find odd is the fact that no sooner had the bullets stopped flying the anti-gunnies infesting our government were screaming for gun bans. It was almost as if they had a sixth sense and knew it was going to happen. These people are sick to use such a terrible tragedy to try to further their own warped agenda. If they hate guns so much, why do they hide behind armed guards?

The problem has NEVER been guns, but evil human intentions. If a good person owns a gun, he and the innocent people around him are safer. If a bad person owns a gun, he will use it to hurt the innocent people around him. Why punish the good person because of the bad person? Also bear in mind the that this shooter, like most of the rest, was taking psychotropic drugs. This won’t be the last shooter, either. How many of our children are raised eating these psychotropic drugs every day, their developing brains assaulted relentlessly by mind altering poison? And people wonder why America has one of the highest rates of suicide in the world.

The best solution is to train and arm all school faculty workers. Shooter comes in, pulls a weapon, gets a tight pattern on his/her chest, and the threat is neutralized with little or no innocent casualties. How hard is that to understand? By the time the cops show up, the job is done! In Free Soul Papa’s day, he could bring a rifle to school so he could hunt on his way home. Can anyone tell me how many school shootings there were 40 years ago?

If guns are banned because they kill people, then food should be banned because it causes obesity. Obesity is a huge contributing factor to things like heart disease, increased risk of heart attack and stroke, and diabetes. Oh, wait. Obesity is the over consumption of food, which is a conscious decision. So is shooting someone in cold blood, a conscious decision.

To anyone who would ask me, ‘Where was God when those kids were getting killed?’, here is my answer: God was thrown out of the schools in 1963, He didn’t think they wanted His help anymore.

May God grant you peace and safety.
