Deuteronomy 28: The Curses And America Part 3

Deuteronomy 28:43 (Pay close attention, this one is obvious) “The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shall come down very low.”

The illegal aliens in our country are treated better than our homeless. Amnesty is right around the corner. People living here illegally have been able to hold a protest in the open without being rounded up and shipped back home where they belong. Our border guards are overwhelmed with not much help in sight.

28:44 “He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him:he shall be the head, thou shalt be the tail.”

We used to be the big global lender, now we are in so much debt we will NEVER be able to pay it back. Our position in this world is falling rapidly. Countries who hate us no longer fear us. Do you really think Obama intimidates Putin? Putin isn’t the pussy Obama is. Obama prefers more helpless targets. I have no doubt we will eventually go to war with both Russia and China, but with Obuttcrack as president, our defeat may be assured. Maybe in 2016 we’ll get an Illuminati president with more balls and really make World War 3 interesting, but with our waning power, even that may not be enough.

28:45 (parentheses mine) “Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst (hearkened, listened) not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:”

28:46 “And they shall be upon thee the for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed forever.”

Things are about to get ugly. And these these things that are about to get ugly will make the whole world stare at us in shock or laugh uncontrollably. I’d say the Western world might be the ones shocked, but the Jihadis are going to celebrate even if they didn’t get to be the ones to do it. America might get destroyed.

28:47 “Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;”

28:48 “Therefore thou shalt serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.”

God wants us to serve Him with joy. He wants us to be his children. He blesses us when we adore Him. He has every right to punish us when we spit in His holy face. How do you think God feels when a nation He so richly blessed decides that God has no place in it’s society anymore? When that nation thinks that breaking God’s laws is no big deal? God says to Himself, ‘Well, if they don’t want Me anymore, I’ll leave.’ When God leaves, so does His protection. Without God’s protection, our enemies close in.

28:49 “The LORD shall bring a nation from afar, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;”

28:50 “A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of old, nor shew favor to the young:”

28:51 “And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee.”

That’s not the worst of it.

28:52 “And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout the land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.”

28:53 “And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:”

28:54 “So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:”

28:55 “So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.”

28:56 “The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil towards the husband of her bosom, and towards her son, and towards her daughter,”

28:57 “And towards the young one that cometh out from between her feet, and towards her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.”

Imagine being so hungry that you would eat your own child. Imagine your town or city surrounded by enemy troops with no way of escape. There is no food, little clean water, no electric or utilities. Law and order are gone, there is no doctor. In times past, the people within a besieged city would eat their kids out of desperation. Cities were besieged for months on end, the enemies waiting for their prey to run out of supplies and grow weak. The children were some of the first to go when all else was gone. America, you have no idea what can befall you.

The Blessings And The Cursings: The Choice Of A Nation

1.And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and do all his commandments which I commend thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee high above all nations of the earth: 2. and all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee,if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. 3.Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. 4.Blessed shalt be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 5.Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. 6.Blessed shalt thou be when thy comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thy goest out. 7.The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. 8.The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. 9.The LORD shall establish thee a holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways. 10.And all the people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be afraid of thee. 11.And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee. 12.The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. 13.Amd the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and though shalt not be beneath; if thou shalt hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and do them. 14.And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them. 15.But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: 16.cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt though be in the field. 17.Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store. 18.Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. 19.Cursed shalt thou be when thy comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thy goest out. 20.The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for tho do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me. 21.The LORD shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it. 22.The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thy perish. 23.And thy heaven which is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron. 24.The LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven it shall come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed. 25.The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shall be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. 26.And thy carcase shall be meat unto all the fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away. 27.The LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed. 28.The LORD shall smite thee with madness, and astonishment of heart: 29.and though shalt grope at noondays, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt only be oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee. 30.Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build a house, and thou shalt not dwell within: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof. 31.Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them. 32.Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand. 33.The fruit of thy land, and all thy labors, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt only be oppressed and crushed away. 34.So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. 35.The LORD shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore bothch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head. 36.The lord shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. 37.And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all the nations whither the LORD shall lead thee. 38.Thou shall carry much seed out into the field, and shall gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it. 39.Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes, for the worms shall eat them. 40.Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for the olive shall cast his fruit. 41.Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity. 42.All the trees and the fruit of thy land shall the locust consume. 43.The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. 44.He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail. 45.moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkendst not unto the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee: 46.And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed forever. 47.Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; 48.Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yolk of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. 49.The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from afar, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; 50.A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favor to the young: 51.And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil, or the increase of thy kine, or the flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee. 52.And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee. 53.And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee: 54.So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward is brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave: 55.So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates. 56.The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and towards her son, and towards her daughter, 57.And towards her young one that cometh from between her feet, and towards the children whom she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thy in all thy gates. 58.If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; 59.Then the LORD shall make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. 60.Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. 61.Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed. 62.And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God. 63.And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD shall rejoice over you to destroy you, and bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it. 64.And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. 65.And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of heart: 66.And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life: 67.In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. 68. And the LORD thy God shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. —– Deuteronomy chapter 28 KJV

If you prefer a different version of the Bible, please open it and read the entire chapter of Deuteronomy 28. Though it was originally given to the people of ancient Israel, it also applies in a way to another country that was similarly dedicated to God. This other nation did not have to observe all the laws ancient Israel did because it is a Gentile nation birthed after the resurrection of Christ, but it is still under its own covenant with God. The United States of America was dedicated by the Founding Fathers to God, and now the Modern Minions, backed by most of the citizenry, have given Him the middle finger. As you read chapter 28, compare each blessing to the America that was and each cursing to the America that is now. The results might scare you. I’ll try to break this down at a later date, as it’s almost 2 am EST. This should give you enough to chew on for now. Remember one thing: God does not actually curse anyone or bring on all the crap. As people reject God and His ways, they curse themselves. They snub God in their pride and their greedy nature makes them stupid. Many famines are caused by mismanagement of land and politics! Our loving government lets companies dump poisons into our food to lower costs! The list is endless. God is not to blame, people are.

May God grant you all peace. Homestead pirate on the borderlands of FEMA region 5 signing off.

Sorry Folks! And other such news.

I have to apologize for the long silence, I’ve been a busy Free Soul. A lot has been going on with a lot of good news and bad. I broke up with my boyfriend around Easter am moving on well. Taking applications for Free Soul Boyfriend position. Got rid of all horses because Free Soul Papa’s heart can’t handle the work and we weren’t using them. Of course all the prepping keeps us busy and we had to be watchful during Grid-Ex 2 just to be on the safe side. Thank God Grid-Ex 2 didn’t really do anything that I am aware of. I’ve also been working quite a bit of overtime and have been fairly tired as of late and had two wisdom teeth pulled. Two down, two to go. But I’m sitting here now with techno music pounding into my brain and typing away.

I have some new ideas I want to try this next year. The first is an indoor veggie garden. With all of the weird weather, the honey bees dying off in droves because of Asian hornets, GMO pollen, and pesticides, the threat of GMO cross contamination, and past bad experiences with certain wild and domestic animals (the goats we no longer have, the chickens who couldn’t be contained in a maximum security prison, and the fat tunneling rodent that ate a lot of our potatoes) trashing our poor little (poorly planned, not my fault, long story) garden. This indoor garden (under MY full control) will require a new skill I have not learned yet: hand pollination. I will try to keep ya’ll updated when I do this. All my victories and failures. A lot of prayer and hard work.

Note on the indoor garden: This would be great for many of our in-town brothers and sisters who can’t have a traditional garden outside (even though I think tomatoes look lovely next to crocuses and doesn’t garlic have such grand flowers?). I’ve heard a lot of stories were cities have banned veggie gardens in some areas and even destroyed them. However, if a room is nice and sunny, can it be sacrificed for an out of government sight, out of government mind veggie garden? Word of warning: use your sunniest room because growing lights attract unwanted attention from law enforcement looking for a marijuana bust.

The next is raising, slaughtering, and canning my own hog. Now I’ve raised them plenty of times. I can slaughter large animals, so that’s not a problem. I have not canned meat, so another new skill for me to learn. I also want to save what I can of the extra fat and guts and make my own canned pet food to store for the coming troubling times ahead. I have a 50 pound dog and two cats that I want to survive with me. OK, one cat can supplement her diet with frogs (yes, she likes frogs), but the other two can only hunt their food dishes. I am confident that this idea won’t be hard for me to do considering my background.

I also want to start canning butter and maybe cheese. I’ve heard that milk can also be canned, so if anyone has done it before or knows someone who does please send recipe. I’d like to get back into goats again someday, but I’m going to plan it better and make sure the buggers are better contained. In a year or two I’d like to get the Angora goats, as the produce not only milk and meat, but also fiber for weaving. More skills to learn. Challenge accepted.

And I want those cute feathery footed chickens soooooooooooo bad…

Pride Goes Before A Destruction…

…And a haughty spirit before a fall. You’ll find those words in the Bible, Proverbs 16:18. That verse is exactly what I thought when I heard that the stock market was reaching record highs. Last time that happened, we had the crash of ’08 right after. What happened in 1929, right after the ‘Roaring Twenties’? People are lead to believe that a high stock market means that our economy is in full recovery. The fact is, we have been in a full blown depression since 2008. The powers that be can cook up all the ‘facts’ they want, nothing can change the truth that we are in serious trouble. Inflation keeps rising, as does unemployment. No where near enough jobs are being created to put a dent in those unemployment numbers. Everyone reading this probably does not have to be told that the only thing keeping the stock market up is the plunge protection team and a lot of wishful thinking. You can thank Bennie Bernanke for all the good his quantitative easing (QE) has done.

The only thing holding up the dollar right now is blind trust. This blind trust is beginning to rapidly dissipate into a noxious cloud of anger, hatred, and betrayal. Some are already losing trust: the BRICS  nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa). Russia, China, and India have been buying Iranian oil with gold, not dollars. What a coincidence that our leaders here are chomping at the bit to invade Iran? Saving the dollar was the cause of our going into the middle east in the first place. We bombed a straight line through the mountains in Afghanistan under the premise of fighting Al-Qaeda  (whom the government can’t seem to decide whether or not they are our enemies) and the Taliban, invaded Iraq (who did not do a blame thing to us, the 9/11 hijackers were SAUDI ARABIANS, so why were we in Iraq?), monkeyed around in Pakistan a little, bombed the crap out of Libya, and now we’re arming and training Syrian rebels, many of whom are our enemy (ok, they’re our friends here) Al-Qaeda. Why? Afghanistan didn’t want the pipeline run through their mountains. Saddam wanted gold instead of dollars, same as Ahmadinejad does now. I don’t have a bloody clue what O-Bomb-a had against Libya and I’m still a little foggy on why our government wants Assad outed. Probably they are fed up with the bull hockey the bullies… I mean, LEADERS, of this country have been giving them. Now Iran is on the chopping block.

What would happen if the blind trust were to give way completely? I’m no expert in such matters, but it could go something like this: Realizing that the dollar is completely worthless, countries try to offload their dollars en mass. That means that all those trillions of dollars will have to go somewhere. Right. Back. Home. Coupled with all these QEs, which is a fancy term for inflation, all this worthless toilet paper is poured back into our markets, bringing hyper inflation of the likes we’ve never seen. It would suck.

How long will the dollar last as the world reserve currency? I don’t know. It should not have made it this long. That’s why I only keep enough cash in the bank to pay my bills. other than that, I don’t trust financial institutions. When I think of investing, I think of hard assets  like semi precious metals (brass, lead, steel), food, and medical supplies. Personally, I really don’t have the extra money to buy silver or gold, so I scrimp and save for what little gear I can get. There are countries preparing themselves for the fall of a haughty nation, are you?

You Are What You Eat, So Why Do We Eat…

Sodium nitrate, sodium citrate, carageenan, monosodium glutamate, high fructose corn syrup, ascorbic acid, aluminum in all its many forms, monoglycerides, diglycerides, mechanically separated meats, fluoride, potassium chloride, the list goes on, gag, gag, gag… but so many could care less about all of the chemicals that we are eating every day. Could this be one of the reasons we are so sick? Could this be why cancer , heart disease, diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and a host of other diseases are at epidemic levels? Along with chem trails, food and water additives are literally killing us! And its all legal according to our loving government. Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are now the most common form of vegetable in many varieties, such as corn. What are these frankenfoods doing to us? The bottom line is that no one in our government really cares, this crap makes somebody an extra few bucks somewhere. The medical industry is just that, an industry. When you get sick, they make money. So, if the food companies make extra money pumping our chow full of garbage (making money for the chemical companies who would otherwise have a harder time getting rid of the stuff), then the toxic food gets us sick, so we go to the doctors and hospitals where we are pumped full of chemical pills that treat symptoms instead if curing the problem and destroy something else that will need yet another pill down the road to ‘treat’. Get what I’m saying? And the real problems are not even touched. Chem trails still lace the sky, fluoride is still dumped in our drinking water, toxic substances are still mixed in our food. So, what do we do about it?

Don’t buy the crap if you can help it! If you are at all able to grow and raise your own food, do it. If you have friends that can or do, help them for a share in the bounty. Try to find a trusted source of non-GMO vegetables and meat that is not full of antibiotics, irradiation, and growth hormones. Buy this stuff in bulk proportions, if your budget allows, and can it yourself. Also, detoxify your body regularly. Find a trusted source for herbal detoxifiers, or learn to grow and make your own. If you have city water, buy a powerful water filter that will filter out the chemicals in your water. Don’t be fooled by ‘All Natural’ or ‘Organic’ being on the label. I saw a box of ‘All Natural’ pancake mix that was loaded with aluminum. Speak up and reach out. Talk about these things and educate people. Most folks are blind to the chem trails that criss cross the sky, even though they are obviously not clouds. Most folks don’t read the ingredients or even the nutrition facts. Most people think that the Nazi mind control drug fluoride is actually GOOD for you. Most people think that our government really cares about us.

The government does not give a crap about us. They want total control over our lives. They hate people who can help themselves. You are a threat if you are self sufficient. Why else would they attack herbology, raw milk, small farmers and homesteaders, ban guns, allow all these toxins to be added to our environment, destroy our economy, throw God out of everything, wreck everything this country was founded on and stood for, and annihilate the morals of our people? We have an illegitimate, i.e. BASTARD,  government. Those bastards are not going to help us. We have to help ourselves. God bless those who are willing to stand on their own two feet. God bless the preppers, God bless y’all.

Blending In At Work During The Collapse

One thing I have been wondering that I haven’t seen written about or posted anywhere else is what about your co-workers post collapse if you were one of the lucky ones to still have a job? During the Great Depression, not everyone was unemployed. It will be the same this time around, folks will still have jobs. So what if you were lucky and your employer was still in business?  Being a prepper, you probably have plenty of food to ride out a long while, especially if you raise and grow your own, so even in the event of hyperinflation or a food crisis, you ain’t losing any weight. However, what if your coworkers are and they are eying the lunch you bring to work each day? I don’t know about you, but most the guys who work at the shop I work at are already in a bind financially. Debt, child support, and legal trouble are the biggest causes along with plain old mismanagement. And they all know I prep (they don’t know what I have or where I live though) because I’ve been trying to warn them for as long as I’ve been there. What if one were to try to follow me home? I’ve put a lot of thought into this, and I know the possible risks. I warn them because I care for them, even though I know I could get into a pickle over it.

I almost always keep at least a half a tank of fuel in the car at all times. I am also alert when I drive and keep an eye out for anyone trying to follow me, a good habit to cultivate now. It’s not paranoia, just a calm alertness. I know those back roads like the back of my hand, most, if not all, of my coworkers, don’t. Another good idea is that if none of your coworkers are bringing a lunch, don’t bring one yourself. Stay as low key as possible. If they know already that you are a prepper, use comments like ‘I wasn’t prepared for this’ or ‘I didn’t realize this would be so bad, I’m just as bad off as the rest of you’. If the majority can no longer afford decent clothes, dress as ratty as they do. The trick is to blend in as best as you can. Same with shaving and hair cuts, if they can’t do it, don’t do it yourself.

The same goes for living in your community. Look as they look and act as they act (so long as you’re doing nothing wrong). The more you blend in, the more you’ll be left alone. Those who stand out as having more than everyone else are the ones who will be targeted first. Hope this helps. May God grant you peace and protection.

My Winter Bug-Out-Bag.

Please forgive me for not posting for a while, I was spending Christmas with my possible future in-laws and was trying to make a good impression. That and my computer is still slowly giving up the ghost one byte at a time and freezes constantly.

Now to get ME on topic. I decided to leave Free Soul Boyfriend’s place last night and try to drive home and beat the coming blizzard. I ended up having to park at a crossroads off the freeway and taking a one hour cat nap, then I was able drive home OK. Was I scared? Not in the least. Lock the doors and keep the pistol handy. The next day, today, I decided to really take a look at my vehicle go-bag and go through it. Free Soul Boyfriend lives about 2 hours from me and my folks, so if I get stranded out there I’ve got quite a walk, especially in winter. So I hauled inside my vehicle go-bag and emptied it out on Free Soul Mama’s reclining chair. It’s OK, she’s at work.

First, I took out the three MREs and gave them back to Free Soul Papa. We can’t afford the good ones and I can’t stomach the ones we have. I replaced them with two canned soups, one canned fruit, and one can of rice and beans. A little more weight, sure, but they taste far better and I can reuse the cans for various purposes. I also added a pouch full of mint and chamomile teas and granola bars. Peppermint and spearmint tea are good for the digestive tract and chamomile tea is good for calming yourself down and the chamomile tea bags can be wetted and used as a poultice for skin irritations. Peanut butter granola bars are great for energy. I also added raw, unprocessed honey which has anti-biotic properties and great nutritional benefits. I  found that I had forgotten to add a wool sweater.

I also rethought the way I packed it. Yes, I had the stuff on the top that was supposed to be on the bottom and vise versa. Oops. Extra boots on the bottom, warm clothes on the top. Good girl.

Also in my go-bag are a mini sewing kit, extra camo clothing, extra socks and gutchies, mini hygiene kit, mini first aid kit, extra boots, about 3 days of food, two water bottles with ceramic Berkey style filters, a hatchet, black duct tape, lighters, nail clippers, pens and paper, a camo bandana, face paint, and chocolate. That’s all I’m willing to tell you at least. If I’m out and things go down, all I need to do is reach the rural area right outside the city and I can turn into a near invisible prepper just heading home.

What I need to get is some snow camo. Should have put it on my Christmas wish-list. Snow camo will have to take a new high priority on my list. I also need to find a small earth-tone color tarp. I also lost my mini flashlight that I always keep on my person and have to get more. It was a streamlight and that breaks my heart.

If anyone has anything else to add, feel free to post comments containing useful info as I’m always all ears to new info. May God grant you all peace and lots of ammo.
