My Thoughts On North Korea

There’s been a lot of talk lately on both sides about the goings on with North Korea. N Korea threatening the US with nukes and China saying they want nothing to do with this, which could be bull. The US had a chopper crash near the border of N Korea but giving our own track record we may have shot it down ourselves to get closer to war. All over Asia, nations are bracing for impact. So, what on earth is going on?

Here is how I personally see it. China is backing N Korea, else N Korea wouldn’t be up to this crap. China’s economy is about to crash and they need a good war to push it back up. What N Korea does not understand is that China sees them as expendable. S Korea, however, may be a richer country, but militarily they can’t take care of themselves even against N Korea alone. They’d be crushed like a bug against China. So, S Korea leans on us for protection. We already have so much debt that I don’t know how much more war debt we can take. We are already fighting a few other small wars. China has far more troops than we do.

Here’s another thing I’m seeing in all this. China needs land. BIG TIME. Its no secret that they want Taiwan and N Korea isn’t the only trouble they are stirring up in that area. They are also threatening Japan over the Senkaku(?) islands among other spats they are creating in the region with our allies. The spats that they are creating are all close to their home, but across the ocean for us. If they were to, say, start a few more small wars in SE Asia and draw us in, we’d be in a bad position. Short supply lines for China, long supply lines for us. We’d be fighting on their terms, not ours. China would be most likely to gain the best defensible areas first, forcing us to fight uphill. Their more numerous army would take a much longer time to be spread thin. On top of all that, we will still have our wars in the middle east, and maybe even be going after Iran by then. The more wars we fight, the more front lines we must defend. The more front lines we must defend, the more our power is taken away from the US mainland. The more of our power that is put elsewhere, the more vulnerable the mainland is. See what I’m getting at?

OK, I know that China has been disowning N Korea in the UN. Could be the oldest trick in the book. Watch the left hand, watch the left hand, watch the left hand, and get slapped by the right hand.

Russia and China are good friends, both are our enemies. After what our IMF did to Russia in Cyprus, they will take revenge… on their time. The Russians are masters of the waiting game. They have been feigning weakness since the collapse of the Soviet Union. They know the game and they know that very soon we will be weak enough for an attack. Remember, they put a nuke sub in the Gulf of Mexico and we didn’t know about it until a week after it left. We are also messing with their allies in the middle east.

I don’t think Russia could win a war with us by itself. I don’t think China could win a war with us by itself. But what if they ganged up on us? What if the Russians put another nuke sub in the Gulf of Mexico and gave us an EMP? Think about it. This country has been seriously ticking Russia and China off for decades. They want blood. That, and I’m sure all those Chinese soldiers who can’t marry because of the shortage of women in their own country would just love to get them some American pussy.

N Korea? In the first Korean War, we axed those N Korean soldiers almost right off the bat and were fighting the Chinese for the rest of the war. Their half starved troops are no match for our boys, even if they have one of the largest armies in the world. I think that its not so much N Korea you have to watch, but China.

Both eyes open, folks.

Bagbalm

This blog is for entertainment purposes only. There lurks in my first aid kit a familiar green can. Full of a yellowish goo of great awesomeness. I don’t know what its made of, but its close to being a miracle. As for me, I consider it one of the seven wonders of the world. It softens dry skin, it helps wounds heal better than that neosporin crap, and when my younger brother was a baby and had a bad case of diaper rash that nothing the doctor gave mom to give him worked, it cleared it like a boss. Just a yellowish goo made for cow udders. My friends, I’m talking about the humble bagbalm. Found in animal supply stores and even in supermarkets, this little buddy sells for $6-$7 a can. I have an unknown quantity (OPSEC) of the stuff stashed away in an unknown location.

Bagbalm has many uses, including coating your car door seals in the winter to keep them from freezing. Its part if my first line of defense when it comes to wound care and I’ve never had an infection spring up out of an injury smeared with it.  As always, try a little on a small patch of skin to be sure that you are not allergic to it .

May God grant you all peace!

New Rochelle, New York removes flag as ‘offensive’ Tea Party symbol | WashingtonExaminer.com

A symbol of patriotism trashed. I am disgusted yet again.

The Grey Enigma

Yet one more reason that Westchester County, New York, should secede along with all 5 boroughs of NYC plus Long Island, float into the Atlantic Ocean, and tectonically merge with France or some other Euro-socialist shit hole.

Fig. 1: Offensive speech blowing in the breeze

A veterans organization in a New York town is fighting for its right to fly a patriotic flag after the city council refused to let the group display the flag, calling it a symbol of the Tea Party with right-wing connotations.

The United Veterans Memorial & Patriotic Association replaced a tattered American flag at the New Rochelle Armory, flying the Gadsden flag underneath it. The bright yellow “Don’t Tread On Me” flag has been used by the Navy and Marine Corps since 1775.

The Post-SHTF Sewing Kit

The elastic of your underwear has worn out. It’s post-collapse of society. There are no stores selling underwear. There aren’t even any factories making elastic. What do you do? Your gutchies fall to your ankles before you can even get your pants on! Well, that sounds like a rather personal problem. Can you sew? What’s in your sewing kit? Those are two questions you have to ask yourself. I know that I can sew. I may only know a few basic stitches and what I make or repair doesn’t always look pretty, but it’s all FUNCTIONAL and that’s what matters. Honestly, looking too pretty SHTF would probably get a girl in trouble anyway, if you know what I mean. So, how would I fix this problem? Since I don’t know how long elastic lasts even when its not being used, I don’t store it. I’d make a cut down the front, back, or side of the underwear, hem both sides of the cut, draw it in til it fits , and sew on snaps. Make it work like pants.

If you’re like me and can’t make a button hole to save your life, snaps are your best friend. I can replace buttons and repair button holes, but I cannot make button holes. If I need to make clothes that need to button up, I will use snaps instead. Snaps come in all kinds of different sizes, so stock up on them all. Don’t forget to have buttons handy as well because I’m sure you’ll have to replace those too. It should goes without saying that every prepper should have jars full of needles, pins, and safety pins. I probably don’t have to tell you to fill a box full of good thread. Seam rippers are nice, and keep extra scissors around. Don’t get a whole lot of extra gadgetry. Use the KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) method. Before buying, ask yourself, Do I really need it or can I save money by getting by without it? For example, I don’t use thimbles or the little doohickeys that help you thread a needle. I’ve just gotten a lot better at not stabbing myself and I’ve gotten practiced at threading needles without aid. Saved a few cents and a lot of space.

Learn to sew by hand. In a long term grid down situation, an electric sewing machine will get you nowhere. If you can, try to find an old treadle powered sewing machine. You can still find old Singers around. Personally, I do all my sewing by hand because I’m too cheap to get myself a treadle powered number lol. Keep a small sewing kit in each of your sets of bug out gear. Save all your buttons and still working zippers from worn out clothes.

When society collapses, the more skills you have, the better. Even something as simple as being able to patch a pair of jeans or repair a shirt seam can make a big difference. May God grant you all peace.
