11-10-12 Prepper’s Meeting

Unfortunatly, as usual I got there a little late because I go to church first, but I was there for most of it. The biggest thing tonight was a sausage making demonstration. Free Soul Papa was trying out a new sausage stuffer and showing people how it worked as I was trying to keep a kid occupied. We talked about different ways of setting up security systems around the property and I got to show how the Ruger 10-22 Takedown operated. We also touched on hiding your goods from prying eyes. Generators were also a large part of the discusion, but I didn’t voice my opinion on that until afterward. Ways of preserving food were mentioned, such as sealing food into 5 gallon food grade buckets and using hand warmers to absorb the oxygen in the buckets. I wasn’t there for the pictures of hurricane Sandy and its destruction. All in all, it was a good meeting.

God grant you all peace
